Independent City is a special event which helps to prepare youth for transitioning into adulthood. It is a mock city with different stations that present youth with real-life scenarios. Youth will earn up to 75 ILP$ for participating & completing activities at Independent City.
Special Guest Celestine Middleman will lead an interactive workshop which will focus on building our self esteem.
This workshop will discuss the issue of sex trafficking happening right here in California, and will provide youth with tools to prevent them from falling victim to these predators.
